My dream home isn’t fancy or luxurious.

My dream home isn’t fancy or luxurious.

It’s simple.
Warm.
Safe.

The first thing I want is something that might sound small to other people:
I want it to be warm in the winter.

Really warm.

Because we’ve been cold before — and when you’ve lived in cold houses, you understand that warmth isn’t a luxury. It’s comfort. It’s peace. It’s feeling protected.

I don’t need a huge house.
Just one that makes sense.

Square, practical, easy to move around in.
No stairs — because life changes, bodies get tired, and I want a home that grows old with us.

A cozy living room with a dining table where we can sit together, talk, eat, laugh.
Not cramped, not overwhelming. Just enough space to breathe.

A kitchen that isn’t big, but smart — with good storage and everything in its place.

A children’s room.
A bedroom for us.
A spacious bathroom.
And a small laundry room, because I’m tired of everything being stacked on top of everything else.

But most importantly…
a tiny space just for me.

Even 10 square meters would be enough.

A small desk.
My sewing machine.
Maybe a chair for reading.

A place where I can close the door and simply be myself.
Create. Think. Breathe.

Not to escape my family —
but to return to them calmer and happier.

And then, a big balcony with a beautiful view.
Sunlight. Plants. Maybe a barbecue.
Coffee in the morning. Quiet evenings in the summer.

Nothing extravagant.

Just a home that feels soft.
A home that holds us.
A home that says, “You’re safe here.”

That’s my dream.
