The most important invention in my lifetime is the internet.

The most important invention in my lifetime is the internet.

Not just because it connects the world, but because it quietly changed what a “normal life” can look like.

Because of it, I can learn anything, anytime. I can teach myself new skills, find inspiration, watch tutorials, and grow without needing permission or a classroom.

Because of it, I can work from home, build a small handmade business, and share my creations with people I’ve never met — in different cities, different countries, different cultures.

A simple pouch I sew at my kitchen table can travel across the world and become part of someone else’s everyday life. That still feels magical to me.

The internet also gives me something even more valuable: time and flexibility.
Time to be present with my child.
Time to create.
Time to design a life that feels slower, softer, and more intentional.

It’s not just technology.
It’s freedom.

Freedom to choose how I work.
Freedom to express myself.
Freedom to build something that is truly mine.

For me, that’s the most powerful invention of all.
